The Design

The Material

Selecting the material is the most exciting part of the reupholstering process. This is where you decide the style and atmosphere you’re going for with our exclusive upholstery choices. Choosing fabrics and trims from an extensive selection of top-quality brands and styles is what truly customizes your upholstery.

The Craftsmanship

This is where Positano’s Master Craftsmanship comes into play. Our team will strip the furniture taking the fabric off to the bare frame. At this point we assess each item to determine if any repairs are necessary, which may include replacing springs, re-webbing and strengthening the frame. We then measure and cut the fabric; with patterned fabrics we plan out every detail to ensure the pattern matches consistently throughout the piece. Once the materials are prepared, our team skillfully sews them, ensuring the fabric is stitched to the precise specification tailored for a custom fit.

Paying attention to final details, such as the finish, can be the key to making a significant difference.
